On August 12, 2010 OSI Community Fellow Meshelle Foreman, known by her stage name Meshelle: The Indie Mom of Comedy, will star in a one-woman show at Joe’s Pub at the Public Theatre in New York City. Called “Can I Be Great? Life After 20 Years Inside,” the show “explores the shelf-life of a stand-up comedienne and solo performer daring to live her dream after exiting 20 years of marriage and on the cusp of empty nest syndrome.” Tickets and more information here.

Foreman, a former Baker Awards finalist, previously starred in a one-woman show at Joe’s Pub in 2018. See a sample of her comedy from TruTV here.
