Tomorrow, as part of their “13th of the Month” series, Baltimore Racial Justice Action (BRJA) will hold “Talking to Children about Race,” a discussion with parents, caretakers and teachers on ways to engage in constructive conversations with children about race. The event starts at 6:30pm at the American Brewery Building.

This free series is designed to provide opportunities for participants to discuss issues through a racial lens.  More information can be found here.

BRJA is a network individuals across Maryland who are committed to working for racial equity. 2003 OSI Community Fellow, Betty Garman Robinson is an Advisory Board member. Robinson’s fellowship, The History of Social Justice Organizing, aimed to connect Baltimore organizers across issues and constituencies and to popularize the history of organizing in Baltimore.
