This weekend, Baltimore Roundtable for Economic Democracy (BRED) is organizing a free worker co-op jumpstart this weekend, at 2640 Project. This public event is designed to introduce people to the idea of worker co-ops, and to help people that are interested in starting, expanding, or converting a business into a cooperative.

BRED was co-founded by Red Emma’s Bookstore Coffeehouse, and is partially funded by a grant from Open Society Foundation
