Join Open Society Institute-Baltimore for the last of three special events marking our 20th Anniversary.

Patrick Gaspard, president of Open Society Foundations and ambassador to South Africa in the Obama administration, will join us to discuss the challenges to open societies around the world.

We will also announce and introduce the new 2018 cohort of Open Society Institute-Baltimore Community Fellows.

Throughout the series of events, we honor local individuals who have lived the values of Open Society Institute’s tagline, Bold Thinking, Strategic Action, Justice for All. At this event, we will present “Justice For All” awards to Kurt Schmoke, former mayor of Baltimore and current President of the University of Baltimore, and Lois Feinblatt, therapist, activist, and philanthropist, for their tireless and effective advocacy on behalf of Baltimore communities.

The program will be followed by a celebratory toast in the BMA lobby.

We hope you can join us for this special evening!
