Leading Minds: Challenging Conversations in Public Education

The Baltimore Curriculum Project’s eighth Leading Minds forum, “Educating the Whole Child”, will take place on Friday, January 25, 2019 from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM at the Johns Hopkins University Glass Pavilion (Pre-event reception from 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM).The forum will explore a variety of strategies to educate the whole child and address the socio-emotional barriers to learning associated with poverty. Karen Webber, director of OSI’s Education and Youth Development Program, will participate in the discussion, along with:

 Mark Gaither, Principal, Wolfe Street Academy

 Dr. William E. “Brit” Kirwan, Chancellor Emeritus, University System of Maryland 

The forum will take place from 1:00pm – 3:00pm. Join us for light refreshments from 12:00pm – 1:00pm.

This event is free and open to the public. Registration is required.
