Baltimore Equitable Vaccine Initiative: Youth Grants

The Baltimore Equitable Vaccination Initiative (BEVI) is a collaboration between the Rockefeller Foundation and Baltimore-based stakeholders, anchored by OSI-Baltimore, to ensure equitable distribution of vaccines in Baltimore City. The four areas of engagement in Baltimore were vaccine delivery, community engagement, communications, and advocacy. This second round of Rockefeller funding went to partners looking to engage the Baltimore youth population.

B-360

$50,000 over six months to enable B-360 to provide COVID-19 health information to Baltimore City youth and assist in removing barriers to access to COVID-19 vaccinations.

Baltimore City Public Schools Re-Engagement Center

$180,000 over one year to enable The Re-Engagement Center to contribute to Baltimore City’s COVID vaccine equity efforts.

Baltimore Corps

$40,000 over six months to provide COVID-19 health information to young people in specific West Baltimore communities and assist in removing barriers to access to COVID-19 vaccinations.

Baltimore Healthy Start

$40,000 over six months to provide COVID-19 health information to young adults in Baltimore City and assist in removing barriers to access COVID-19 vaccinations.

FreeState Justice

$60,000 over six months to provide COVID-19 health information to Baltimore City youth and assist in removing barriers to access to COVID-19 vaccinations.

NextGen Scholars

$60,000 over six months to provide COVID-19 health information to Baltimore City youth and assist in removing barriers to access to COVID-19 vaccinations.

No Boundaries Coalition

$60,000 over six months to provide COVID-19 health information to Baltimore City youth and assist in removing barriers to access to COVID-19 vaccinations.

The Movement Team

$50,000 over six months to provide COVID-19 health information to Baltimore City youth and assist in removing barriers to access COVID-19 vaccinations.

Wide Angle Youth Media

$60,000 over six months to provide COVID-19 health information to Baltimore City youth and assist in removing barriers to access to COVID-19 vaccinations.

Y of Central Maryland
