OSI’s Danielle Torain to receive Changemaker Award at We Give Black Fest

During the We Give Black Fest, scheduled from August 19th to 21st, OSI-Baltimore Director Danielle Torain will receive a Changemaker Award, created to “amplify and honor the work of individuals and organizations that are driving lasting change throughout Greater Baltimore.”

We Give Black Fest is a three-day festival at South Baltimore’s West Covington Park including talks and panels along with musical performances, a wide range of food and cooking demonstrations, wellness booths, and a lot more. The festivals is organized by CLLCTIVLY, a grantee in OSI’s emerging Economic Justice portfolio dedicated to social change, fundraising, the amplification of Black-led organizations serving Greater Baltimore, and the celebration of culture as the foundation of community-driven wealth. The Changemaker Awards presentation will take place on Sunday, August 21st at 4pm.
