2018 OSI Community Fellow Brittany Young was recently featured in a Toyota “#makeup2mud” video talking about her project, B-360, an organization that uses dirt bike culture as a way to introduce young people to educational and career opportunities in STEM fields. Young, who is a chemical engineer, wants to use the program to give young people, especially girls, a different idea of what an engineer can look like. She also wants to change the perception of dirt bike riding, which is illegal in Baltimore.

Check out the video here.

The #makeup2mud campaign focuses on spotlighting the ways women are impacting the world of motocross both on and off the bike.
