This morning, Sheilah Kast, host of WYPR’s On the Record, interviewed 2018 OSI Community Fellows Ciera Daniel and Aarti Sidhu, both of whom are working with students in Baltimore City Public Schools.
Daniel founded Young Kings Leadership Academy at East Baltimore’s City Springs Elementary Middle School to help African-American boys realize their potential and become leaders. Sidhu founded Represent Youth: Baltimore School Justice Initiative to represent students facing suspension or expulsion proceedings.
