On Saturday, 2016 OSI Community Fellow, J.C. Faulk will host, “Let’s Talk About Race,” a conversation, open to all, to discuss the impact of race and racism in Baltimore. Register here for this free event at the Impact Hub Baltimore.

In 2015, Faulk began hosting discussions about the impact of racism in his home, inviting a few people to participation, calling the discussion, “Circles of Voices.”  These conversations grew and topics expanded to include not only race, but trans-phobia, patriarchy, sexism, class issues and other difficult topics that harm and impact our city. Since then, Faulk has moved his discussions to public spaces to accommodate the number of participants. With his fellowship, “An End to Ignorance” Faulk is increasing the presence of Circles of Voices in and outside of Baltimore.
