On Tuesday night, Baltimore City Health Commissioner Leana Wen presented Scott Nolen, director of OSI-Baltimore’s Drug Addiction Treatment program, with the Baltimore City Health Equity Leadership Award as part of the Health Department’s Healthy Baltimore 2020 Community Conversation at the Druid Hill Y.

Among the other recipients were Vickie Walters, director of the Institutes for Behavior Research’s Recovery Enhanced by Access to Comprehensive Healthcare (REACH) program, and Carlos Hardy, CEO, Maryland Recovery Organization Connecting Communities (MROCC), both of whom are in the Behavioral Health Planning Group for OSI’s Solutions Summit.

The event was part of the Health Department’s launch of Healthy Baltimore 2020, “a strategic blueprint for health and wellness in Baltimore City through the lens of health equity.”
