Suzanne F. Cohen, President of the Nathan and Suzanne Cohen Foundation, is an active community leader and professional volunteer. She is former Chair and an Honorary Trustee of the Baltimore Museum of Art; past Chair and Life Member of the Board of The Associated: Jewish Community Federation of Baltimore; and past President of the Baltimore Jewish Council. She is an EmeritaTrustee of the Baltimore Community Foundation, prior Trustee Emerita of Goucher College where she earned a B.A. with special Honors, Vice- Chair of Middle Grades Partnership and on the Advisory Board of the Weinberg Library Project,.
One of her most significant initiatives was championing and funding the concept of Free Admission at the Baltimore Museum of Art. She has been recognized with numerous honors including 2013 induction in the Jewish Community Center Jewish Hall of Fame; recognition as a Center of Excellence awardee as one of MD’s Top 100 Women 3 times; and, 1999 Philanthropist of the Year by the Association of Fundraising Professionals.
