Nupur Parekh Flynn joined Brown Capital Management in 2004. Prior to this, Nupur served as a marketing executive at the global law firm DLA Piper. Before joining DLA Piper, she spent three years as a political appointee at the U.S. Agency for International Development, working in the Bureau of Legislative and Public Affairs.
Nupur earned an MA in European Studies with a specialization in policy from l’Institut d’Etudes européennes de l’Université libre de Bruxelles and a BA in international studies from McDaniel College.
She is a trustee of the Sinai Hospital of Baltimore, where she is a member of the hospital’s performance oversight committee. Nupur is a trustee of the Baltimore Museum of Art, where she is a member of the museum’s executive, governance, and public engagement committees. Nupur is a former member of the national steering committee of the Ron Brown Scholar Program, the Dean’s Advisory Council, Arts Division of the University of California, Santa Cruz, and the Baltimore Community Foundation development committee. She is also a former trustee of McDaniel College and HopeWell Cancer Support.
